iCAN supports the joint statement on RDI funding from the Academy of Finland Flagship projects.
The recent long-term funding plan for RDI (March 2023) is a significant step for Finland’s competitiveness and growth. This is a three-point summary of the Flagships’ statement in English.
- We need to increase Finland’s appeal for international talent and investments
- We need to maintain high-quality basic research conducted in Finland
- We need to ensure that research is closely linked to industry and society
