Professor Satu Mustjoki awarded the 2025 iCMLf Rowley Prize

The International Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Foundation (iCMLf) has announced that Professor Satu Mustjoki, Scientific Director of the iCAN – Digital Precision Cancer Medicine Flagship and Professor of Translational Hematology at the University of Helsinki, has been awarded the 2025 Rowley Prize for her pioneering research in CML immunology and a career of excellence in hematology.

Named in honour of Janet Rowley, this prestigious award recognises individuals who have made exceptional lifetime contributions to advancing the understanding of the biology of chronic myeloid leukemia. As it is noted in the award citation: “Professor Satu Mustjoki’s career exemplifies the spirit of the iCMLf Rowley Prize – dedication to scientific discovery, translational excellence, and a commitment to improving outcomes for patients with CML.”
