iCAN Science Seminar on The day after the drug – investigating cancer persister cells memory with Assist. Prof. Yaara Oren
Warm welcome to the iCAN Science Seminar with Assist. Prof. Yaara Oren (Tel Aviv University) on The day after the drug – investigating cancer persister cells memory.
When: Tue 28.10.2025 at 10:00–11:00 UTC+3

Host: Anna Vähärautio
Bio: Dr. Oren is an assistant professor in the Department of Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. Dr. Oren obtained her Ph.D. at Tel Aviv University, studying regulatory evolution of bacterial pathogens. She then pursued her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and the Broad institute where she worked on the identification and characterization of mechanisms of non-genetic drug resistance.
