Kari Alitalo has been conferred the honorary title of Academician of Science

iCAN Scientific Director Kari Alitalo has been conferred the honorary title of Academician of Science by President Sauli Niinistö on 27th November 2020.

This honorary title is been conferred on highly distinguished scientists and scholars from Finland and abroad and no more than sixteen Finns may bear the title at a time.
